Komárková, Adéla ; Pumprlová Němcová, Miroslava (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with the status of watercourses and the hydro-ecological monitoring problematics. As a requirement of the European Water Framework Directive, the Hydro-ecological monitoring (HEM) is a part of the watercourses state assessment. The thesis contains a literature review on the subject, focused on possibilities of improvement of the watercourse state. Water conservation measures to slow down the runoff and increase the water supply in the floodplain of Kozí stream
Blatecká, Markéta ; Komendová, Denisa (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with the variety of measures in the floodplain of the piped Kozí creek, which aim to improve its morphological and ecological condition, slow down the runoff from the basin and increase the retention capacity of its surroundings. The thesis contains theoretical knowledge about revitalization, renaturation and restoration of water reserves in the landscape, which is then applied to concrete solutions. Associated with this topic is also the drainage of the landscape and an assessment of historical drainage interventions from a contemporary perspective, within which the thesis addresses theoretical and practical dealings with drainage structures that are no longer needed or no longer functional. The thesis includes the implementation of watercourse monitoring according to the HEM methodology, which serves as a tool for assessing the hydromorphological condition of watercourses. The evaluation of the monitoring is then used for the design of individual measures.
Revitalisation of parts of the Mojena stream included in the territorial system of ecological stability
Vojtasová, Simona ; Hubačíková, Věra (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with the description and hydroecological monitoring of the Mojena watercourse, located in the Zlín region. The hydroecological monitoring was carried out in accordance with the HEM 2014 methodology, approved by the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic. Based on the results of the hydroecological monitoring, problem sites suitable for river restoration measures were selected with the possibility of subsequent integration into the elements of the Territorial Ecological Stability System. After the design of the restoration, the hydroecological monitoring was re-evaluated and then the current state was compared with the expected state.
Hydroecological monitoring and revitalisation of small water course
Komendová, Denisa ; Hubačíková,, Věra (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with the hydroecological monitoring and river restoration of the Syrovinka watercourse in Hodonín district. In the framework of the hydroecological monitoring a river hydromorphological assessment was conducted as a part of assessing the ecological status of watercourse, to meet the requirement of the Water Framework Directive. Hydroecological monitoring was conducted using methodology HEM 2014, which is accepted as a national standard by the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic. Problematic reaches of watercourse were determined and for the selected reach a river restoration measures have been designed. Subsequently, an efficiency of river restoration was evaluated. The main benefits of designed river restoration are the restoration of ecological function and the support of natural water retention in floodplain.
Hydromorphological monitoring of Sopřečský stream and and possibilities of its improvement
Sirůčková, Renáta ; Hubačíková,, Věra (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with the hydroecological monitoring of the Sopřečský potok and possibilities of its improvement. The Sopřečský potok is located in the Pardubice Region in the Elbe River Basin. In the first phase of the work, hydroecological monitoring was carried out and then the hydromorphological state of the watercourse was evaluated. All procedures comply with the requirements of the Water Framework Directive. On the basis of its evaluation and taking into account the delimitation of ÚSES elements, the sections on which the measures to improve the state of the watecourse were implemented were selected. The effect of the modifications on the hydromorphological state was again evaluated. In conclusion, there is a comparison and summary of the proposed modifications to the existing state of watercourse.
Small water course restoration and its integration to the territorial systems of ecological stability
Blatecká, Markéta ; Kozel, Tomáš (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with hydro-ecological monitoring and evaluation of watercourses using the HEM 2014 methodology - Methodology of monitoring hydromorphological indicators of ecological quality of watercourses and Methodology of type-specific evaluation of hydromorphological indicators of ecological quality of watercourses. The methodology is under the auspices of the Ministry of the Environment and it responds to the Water Framework Directive. Part of the work is a literary research focused on related topics, especially the revitalization and territorial system of ecological stability. Practical part includes monitoring and evaluation of a small watercourse. For a part of a watercourse there is a designed a plan to improve its condition with integration into the ÚSES.
Set of arrangements in Javornický stream floodplain for Rosnička pond water quality improvement
Špaček, Ondřej ; Hubačíková,, Věra (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with the projection of water management and erosion control measures in the Javornický stream floodplain to improve water quality in the Rosnička pond near the town of Svitavy. In the teoretical part, the author summarized current practices in the areas of small river restorations and protection against soil erosion in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, the analasis of the area was first made, including the analysis of natural conditions, hydroecological monitoring of watercourses according to the HEM 2014 method and quantification of soil loss conditions according to the USLE method. Then, revitalization measures on the Javornický stream were designed to improve the self-purification of water and the restoration of ground water in the floodplain, as well as two variants of erosion control measures on agricultural areas to reduce the input of sediments into the hydrographic network. Finally, conceptual and technical recommendations for the implementation of these measures were formulated, as a basis for planning and decision-making of the political leadership of the town of Svitavy.
Hydroecological monitoring and revitalisation of small water course
Řídký, Vojtěch ; Králová, Helena (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the hydroecological monitoring of the small water course Stanůvka in the South Moravian Region. Hydroecological monitoring was carried out according to the recognized methodology of the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic. In the thesis is suggested a revitalization of this water course. At the end of the thesis a comparison of the current state of the water course and the condition proposed by the revitalization is made and the contribution of this revitalization is evaluated.
River and floodplain restoration of Rohelnice stream with intergation to territorial systems of ecological stability
Komárková, Adéla ; Hubačíková,, Věra (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This work deals with the state of watercourses, the territorial system of ecological stabi-lity and the possibilities of improvement for a state close to nature. The Rohelnice river basin and the solved watercourses are located in the Olomouc Region in the Morava River Basin. HEM - Hydroecological monitoring is a part of the assessment of the state of watercourses, which is a requirement of the European Water Framework Directive. The work contains the elaboration of a literature search on this topic with a focus on water retention in the landscape and the possibility of improving ecological stability in the basin. The content of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the hydromorphological status of watercourses in the Rohelnice river basin with the selection of sections on watercourses and places in the wider river basin for elements of ecological stability on the basis of zoning plans of affected cities and municipalities and improvement of the overall ecological status in the Rohelnice river basin.
